New York based Photographer\u202fAndrew Zuckerman \u2013 famous for his human portraits in Wisdom, and his animal portraits in Creature – brought both together for a series of images for the United Nation\u2019s Lion Share\u202fFund\u2019s\u202ffirst global campaign.<\/p>\n

Motivated by a desire to bridge\u202fhumankind\u2019s\u202fseparation from nature,\u202f\u2018Eye to Eye\u2019\u202faims to rekindle that connection with the wild through images that convey a sense of inter-dependence, a \u2018meeting of minds\u2019 \u2013 \u2018a deep love\u2019\u00a0 and \u2018complete and utter trust\u2019.<\/p>\n

There is a shared responsibility to\u202fprotect nature for the wellbeing of people now\u202fand in the future. The\u202f\u2018Eye to Eye\u2019 campaign underscores the importance of collective action to conserve and effectively manage scarce natural resources,\u202fentwining\u202fpeople and planet.<\/p>\n

Launched at the\u202f\u202fIUCN World Conservation Congress\u202fduring a\u202fLion\u2019s Share event,\u202f\u2018Eye to Eye\u2019\u202fis live in the US (New York-Times Square & Chicago), UK (London), and Australia (Sydney & Perth). The Lion\u2019s Share is also working on bringing the images to key audiences in Africa and Asia through\u202f2022.<\/p>\n

With these series of images, we are asking the public to actively support the brands that have joined The Lion\u2019s Share. The Lion\u2019s Share is a unique platform for advertisers\/brands to take leadership in\u202feffecting the\u202fnecessary\u202fbehavioural\u202fchanges\u202fby\u202fbusinesses and consumers\u202fto\u202fconserve\u202fspecies and their habitats for humanity, and give back by\u202fdonating just 0.5% of media spend every time an animal appears in an ad.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
