Phil Yates has spent decades immersed in 1950s rock ‘n’ roll culture \u2014 as a graphic designer, event producer, DJ, and radio host. He co-created The Hellbilly Hop, a live rockabilly music event series, and hosted Grits and Grease on Rocking247Radio \u2014 the station owned by Tom Ingram, founder of Viva Las Vegas, the world’s largest rockabilly festival. He wears a full pompadour to work every day. He owns a 1957 jukebox.<\/p>\n
